If there is inclement weather all Jurors will need to check the 3 major networks (Channel 4, 7, and 13) for weather delays or closings for the Thirteenth Judicial District Court in Valencia County.

You must request excusal BEFORE your group number is called. If there is an emergency please call the Clerk's Office at 505-865-4639. If you have not been excused for the specific day you have been summoned for you are required to attend jury service when your juror number is called.


Warning, Scam Alert:

There have been reports of someone posing as a court employee or law enforcement demanding payment of fines over the phone by credit card. The 13th Judicial District Court will never call and ask for payment of any fines by phone using a credit card. New Mexico law enforcement does not collect fines on behalf of the courts. If you have received a similar call, please call the Valencia County Courthouse at 505-865-4639, notify the Valencia County Sheriff's Office at 505-866-2078 and the New Mexico Attorney General at 505-222-9000.
