Warning, Scam Alert:
There have been reports of someone posing as a court employee or law enforcement demanding payment of fines over the phone by credit card. The 13th Judicial District Court will never call and ask for payment of any fines by phone using a credit card. New Mexico law enforcement does not collect fines on behalf of the courts. If you have received a similar call, please call the Valencia County Courthouse at 505-865-4639, notify the Valencia County Sheriff's Office at 505-866-2078 and the New Mexico Attorney General at 505-222-9000.
